Eye in the sky: Stunning aerial footage as classic cars take over Swindon’s Magic Roundabout

OUR friends at AAIR have outdone themselves this weekend.

Simon Folkard’s drones captured some truly iconic aerial images as 60 classic and modern cars were driven around Swindon’s Magic Roundabout on Saturday as part of the town’s 175 celebrations – recognising the anniversary of the 1841 construction of Brunel’s railway works.

Each of the cars taking part in the The Magic Wheels of Pressed Steel motorcade had panels pressed at Swindon’s BMW Mini plant – formerly the Pressed Steel site which is celebrating 60 years in the town.

After the procession, the convoy of vehicles made their way to Lydiard Park to go on display for the public.
