NURSES across Wiltshire can take a fast-track approach to securing a new career with a recruitment day that offers all attendants an interview slot for the same day.
Taking place at Marlborough’s Savernake Hospital on Monday 9 May between 2pm and 7pm, the recruitment day is open to all registered nurses, whether experienced or newly qualified, interested in working in the hospital’s 30-bedded Ailesbury Ward.
Those coming along will have the chance to meet the senior nurses and clinicians who work on the ward and have a tour before taking part in an interview for one of the exciting positions available.
Hanna Mansell, Human Resources Business Partner, said: “This recruitment day is a fantastic opportunity for any nurse looking to broaden their horizons or start their career in a hospital which is known locally for its professionalism and high standard of care.
“Nursing is an incredibly rewarding profession and the friendly team at Savernake can support and nurture new colleagues to reach their full potential.
“And the fact that interviews can be sat on the day itself means the whole recruitment process is faster with less unnecessary waiting for those applying.”
The day is also a great opportunity for people looking for more flexible work, as a number of positions with the Bank, the Trust’s own internal staffing agency, will also be available.
A great way for staff to pick and choose shifts that fit around them, the Bank is perfect for local people interested in nursing but unable to commit to a full or part time position.
Newly qualified nurses will also receive initial support from a named mentor who can offer advice and guidance during the first few weeks and months.
People interested in attending should register in advance through the NHS Jobs website or by calling the Recruitment team on 01249 434380.
