THIRTY cars vandalised during weekend rampage across Salisbury

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses after around 30 cars were damaged in Salisbury.

The incidents, believed to have happened in the early hours of Saturday 23 July 2016, are thought to have started in Francis Way in Harnham with further reports of damage in Cecil Avenue.

The suspect(s) are then believed to have caused damage to more vehicles on Ayleswade Road and Exeter Street in the city centre before moving on to Pembroke Road and Tournament Road on Bemerton Heath.

Ten vehicles were also damaged on a garage forecourt in Churchfields.

PC Emma Reid from Salisbury Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) said: “Most vehicles have had one or more windows smashed. This is obviously very upsetting for the owners.

“I would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the early hours of Saturday morning, and from residents of the areas affected who may have CCTV.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Salisbury NPT on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
