TWO people have been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash closed the B3098 near Westbury for three hours this morning.
The serious road traffic collision was reported shortly before 10.30am on the road between Westbury and Bratton.
An Orange CBR Motorcycle collided with a Hyundai IX35. The rider and the pillion passenger of the motorcycle were both conveyed by air ambulance to Bristol’s Southmead Hospital with multiple injuries.
The driver and the passenger of the Hyundai were uninjured.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “The road between Westbury and Bratton was closed for three and a half hours to allow police collision investigators to carry out an investigation.
“It is requested that any person who may have witnessed the collision please contact PC Tom Wilson on 101.”
