A SEVERED human foot has been unearthed in a park in Bath this morning.

Simon Clarke was walking his dog with partner Nicky Jeffries in the southern corner of Weston Park at around 8am when they encountered a woman whose dog had discovered the foot in a shrub.

Clarke told the Bath Chronicle: “It was severed about four inches above the ankle.

“It looked like it had been dug up.”

Police are currently at the scene and a cordon has been placed on the area.

A spokesman confirmed they were called shortly after 8am after a member of the public had found a “suspicious item” in Weston Park.
