Police name cyclist killed in Snakey Hill crash


A FATAL collision occurred on Thursday 18 August 2016 near ‘Snakey Hill’ also known as Camp Hill, Salisbury.

A cyclist was in collision with a Green Honda Jazz which was travelling up the hill. The cyclist sustained serious injuries and was air lifted to Southampton General Hospital. He sadly died from his injuries on Friday 19 August.

The cyclist, has been formally identified as Mr Steven Male aged 57 from Wilton. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

An investigation is underway by the Collision Investigation Unit who continue to appeal for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
