Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at the Gorse Hill Dry Cleaners, Cricklade Road, at approx 7.30pm on Tuesday 12 January. Suspect(s) forced their way in to the property before making off with some cash from the till, in the direction of the Great Western Way. Witnesses should contact PC 2658 Ben Moore at Gablecross Police Station.
Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary which took place between 6.30pm and 11.15pm on Friday 22 January at the Green end of Cumberland Road. Anyone seen acting suspiciously in the area at the given time is asked to come forward.
On Saturday 23 January, at around 7.10am, a white male indecently exposed himself to a woman as she was walking from the underpass, under Fleming Way, towards the bus station. He then ran off towards Carfax Street. He is described as having dark hair, wearing a grey jumper and black trousers. If you saw anything suspicious, or anyone acting suspiciously in this area at this time, please call PC Emma Minty on 101.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at Mistletoe Court, Seacole Crescent, around 11am on Saturday 23 January. A male was disturbed by residents of the flats as he attempted to remove personal belongings from a store room in the block. The suspect is described as a white male, approx 5’ 8” tall and of medium build. He was seen wearing a yellow beanie hat, a black rain jacket and grey/blue jeans. Officers are appealing for witnesses after two unknown suspects have been spotted on CCTV stealing a black and purple Felt bicycle outside the Kiss Gym, in Princes Street, at around 1pm on Monday 25 January. One suspect was seen jumping a hedge and cutting the padlock attached to the bike. The bike has a pouch under the seat which contained spares, a pump by the water holder, two reflective tags on the frame, by the back wheel, and a speedometer which is slightly damaged. Police have received a report of a man looking into people’s garages and over their garden fences in the Winterbourne Road/Haydon End area of Swindon around 2pm on Monday 25 January. He’s described as white, slim with short brown hair, wearing navy shorts, a navy hoodie and trainers. Did you see him too? If so please call 101.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man had money he had withdrawn from the Santander cashpoint on Regent Street snatched from his hand. It happened between 4.30pm and 4.45pm on Tuesday 26 January. The suspect is described as a white man, 6ft tall with dark stubble, wearing a black cap, black trousers and a black jacket. He ran off towards Fleming Way. If you saw anyone acting suspiciously at this time and/or running along Regent Street please call 101.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a Honda Jazz and cyclist around 5.30pm on Tuesday 26 January. It happened on the roundabout next to St Mary’s Church, Cheney Manor Road, Rodbourne. The cyclist received minor injuries. If you witnessed the collision please call 101.
A woman left her motorbike in the garden of a house in Green Road, Upper Stratton, around 8pm on Tuesday 26 January. After a short time a neighbour noticed three youths around it. The owner ran outside and they ran off towards the railway line. She then noticed her steering lock had been broken. If you saw anything suspicious or anyone running along Green Road at this time call 101.
A Swindon man has been arrested and charged with theft from Boots The Chemist in The Brunel Plaza which took place on 14 September 2015. Yesterday, Daniel Ebanks, (37) from Swindon, was both arrested and charged with stealing fragrances from the store. He has been released on unconditional bail.
